What an amazing nite you provided for us! We loved every dish that came out, every drink served, every member of your staff. Truly an amazing event that all of our guests raved about. At several times during the evening, I would walk up to a table and ask, “did you guys get the XXX course? Your plates are empty... and they replied... oh yes! We cleaned our plates!” I asked Wellington and he said, “I asked tables the very same questions!”
I know you thought that we did not taste every dish, but I only missed out on the duck appetizers. At dinner, I missed the longevity noodles and cod. When I mentioned what I missed this morning, people mourned for my tastebuds…they loved the texture of the noodles and the subtle flavor of the fish. (Wellington was not as lucky as me! He missed a few more dishes, due to his ‘working the crowd’) Thanks so much for the take home containers, they provided a delicious 11 am snack upon our return home last nite.
You never let on that there was stress behind the scenes and your excellence literally brings tears to my eyes. In another lifetime I would love to work by your side.
We promise to send you a few photos and give you a glowing recommendation that does not include my truck-driver-swearing and negative commentary so that you might feature it in your reference book. We are available for future brides and grooms asking our opinion.
I look forward to catching up upon our return from Bali.
